If development was the justification for keeping an alien ruler in place, India
should have never been free from British rule !

JAI TELANGANA
JAI JAI TELANGANA
Dear Mr.Gopi Krishna,
ReplyDeleteA genuine demand doesn’t require falsehood interpretations and fake statistics.
1. Telangana Literacy
As per the 2001 census Mahbubnagar is the district of lowest literacy rate in Andhra Pradesh with 44.41%. Then how can the average literacy rate of Telangana come down to 30%? Check the internet and find the true literacy rates.
2. Schools
There is contradiction in your statement itself. You yourself are telling two figures for each region. What is the number of schools in each region?
Seemandhra: 39800 (Andhra -26800+Rayalaseema -13000) or 55493
Telangana: 17954 or 40687
First be sure your self any try to argue and convince the people.
And how you got magical rounded figures of 26800 and 13000 for Andhra and Rayalaseema?
3. Sales Tax collection
All big industries and companies where ever they are doing the business across the state, but will have their Head Offices in Hyderabad, being the capital. And they pay all their taxes in Hyderabad.
For example the Lanco Power which is situated in Vijayawada, Panyam Cement which is situated in Kurnool district are having their Head Offices in Hyderabad and they pay their Sales Tax in Hyderabad. Check the total of Telangana excluding Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy.
And if the state is divided all these companies may relocate their Head Offices to their new capital and pay their taxes there.
Come with genuine problems, and don’t only try to show less development and more income. How can a underdeveloped region can contribute more income? Either it is developed or its income is less.
4. Power regulatory mechanisms
Do you mean that there is no power supply to a single home in Telangana? If there are no power transmission lines and substations how power is being transmitted in Telangana? It’s just a blind argument.
5. Funds spent on Education
Andhra 9 districts – Rs 1308.56 Crores
Rayalaseema 4 dist – Rs 382.87 Crores
Telangana 10 districts – Rs 163.39 Crores
Only a blind allegation, with out valid proof.
6. 100% power of Vizag thermal (simhadri) is being used for Andhra only, but 27% power of Ramagundam is being used for A.P.
Just a blind argument with out knowledge. Both Ramagundam and Simhadri are NTPC projects and 100% of Simhadri and 27% of Ramagundam is allocated to Andhra Pradesh state by the Central Government. It was N Chandrababunaidu’s influence to get 100% allocation of Simhadri to our state.
And power from both the plants is supplied to the Southern Grid, where you can not divert it or allocate it as per your will and wish to a particular region. From the grid the entire state on a whole can only use allocated amount of power, but nobody with his hand can divert it to Andhra region.
7. Government buys sugar cane from farmers (per quintal)
Andhra – Rs 1200
Telangana –Rs 890
State Government never purchases sugarcane in any region, because the state government does not own any sugar plant. Only Private Sugar Industries purchase sugarcane from farmers.
If the Telangana demand is genuine, please come out with true facts if any, but don’t blindly blame others with fake statistics and falsehood arguments.
